can't we use our server resources for conversion?

  • I think the author purposely take the load to their server for getting paid. it’s not really necessary. still a good plugin so I rate this 4/5.

    Hi Cuta,

    Thank you so much for your review. But let me explain you here why we need the server thing. We don’t store your fonts in our server. But the font you upload (tff, otf) needs to be converted to other formats so that it works well in all browser. Here our server does that. And we have API key for the font conversion. Such things can be done in your own server as well, but you need to have the library that is able to support conversion which in most of the cases lacks.

    Ya definitely we love to get paid and earn few bucks. But server things is not only for the payment. It is there for purpose as well.
