Can't vote if CAPTCHA code entered wrong

    If I’m voting and enter the CAPTCHA code wrong, I get the message that the code is wrong but then when I enter it correctly I get the message that I’ve already voted. Even after a page refresh I can’t vote. It’s setup to vote as anonymous user, I’m blocking voters by cookie and IP for 365 days, and I’m not limiting the number of votes per user.

    It doesn’t set a cookie for the vote but it does put 2 entries in the logs table with the messages 1 -wrong captcha entered, 2nd – you already voted. If I delete those entries I can vote again.
    Is there a problem with my settings or a bug?

    We went over this and the problem is caused by a bug in the app.

    We will soon release a new version that contains a fix to this issue.

    Great, thanks for looking into it. It looks like you may have already determined this but it turns out that any required field not filled in has the same issue. After you get the message that it’s a required field then go back to enter the required field you get the message that you’ve already voted.

    After testing the scenario you pointed, the same issue happens with any of the required fields.

    This will be fixed in the next release.
