Can’t view theme examples when click on them

    I’m looking for a new theme, but whenever I click on it for a closer look, all I get is a blank white rectangle. This is for all the themes. What am I doing wrong?

  • I am having the same problem, would really like to know of any possible solution. I upgraded to WP 3.0 and now I cannot preview new themes.
    I can preview installed themes.
    When I go to Install Themes I cannot preview any of them. It is always a blank – white preview.

    Every post thread I have seen on this topic has been closed and the answer is always to change the title of the theme to have no spaces or underscores… this is not possible when previewing themes that I have not installed.

    Looks like there’s currently an issue with the Preview theme functionality in the Themes Directory. Try to sit tight – I’m sure it will be fixed asap.

    Alice – this is currently a widespread issue and hopefully will be resolved soon. It affects both trying to preview themes through www.remarpro.com and trying to view them through your WordPress dashboard. I’m not sure how aware they are that this is a big issue right now, but hopefully all the posts popping up about it bring it to their attention soon as the problem has now existed for over 24 hours…

    I was unable to upload an image to replace the one in the default template header. Is that a related problem?

    No – it’s not. Please post a new topic if you haven’t done so already.
