Can’t view Private Page in Firefox but can in IE

  • I recently created a Private Page with a password for a client but he and I cannot get to the page using Firefox even after entering the password correctly. We tried this in IE from the same computer and it works fine.

    With Firefox, we are simply returned to the password screen after successfully entering it.

    Any ideas?? I am running WP2.8 on a Linux server.

    FWIW, it doesn’t work in Safari either.

    Sorry about this, but I made a mistake…. it’s NOT a private page I am having problems with, but a password protected page. Sorry for the confusion on this.
