Can't view older comments on page, but they are still on dashboard

  • I’ve only been on wordpress for about a month, hosted on my website. I originally put the settings to not allow comments left on posts older than 10 days. I wonder if this is what is causing the comments from showing on older posts. I thought it would just prevent new comments from being posted, but it looks like there are no comments.

    When I check in the dashboard, all the old comments are still there, it’s not like they’ve been erased.

    So, yesterday, I removed the older-than-10-day setting, but the comments still aren’t appearing on my blog. Any help appreciated.
