I made a free WordPress account, made a blog, and created a few posts. Then I decided to buy my own domain. I bought one from Gridhost, one-click downloaded WordPress 4.1, imported my posts from WordPress.com, re-created my blog, and made more posts.

Then I decided to map my domain to WordPress.com earlier today. Now every time I go to my website URL, or wp-admin, all I can see is the old blog.

Is this temporary seeing as I’ve only just mapped my domain today?

    Thanks in advance!

Your domain name should point to your host’s name servers.

Nevermind. Cancelled the mapping, and pointed my domain to where I registered it.

If your site is on WordPress.COM, you’re on the wrong forums too!

    Try here:

    https://en.forums.wordpress.com/

Cancelled the mapping, and pointed my domain to where I registered it.

That will only work if they are also your host.

Clicking on your site brings up this message

Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.

which is a WordPress dot com message. If they are your host, your domain needs to point to them.

See the link from WPyogi for support.
