Cant view media items or upload images

    Hi… using ithemes security on spanish site… cant upload images to a post, if i go with cpanel file manager to the folder uploads i can see them at the server but get an error when upload or trying to access the media library (spinning wheel) so i cant post images from the editor.

    Changed wp-content name from scratch

    The folder permissions set as ithemes suggests

    Tried Filter query strings options on and off… nothing

    Dont know what to do

    Hi Suraj… yes… the steps:

    – Resinstalled Worpdress from scratch…
    – Reinstalled again ithemes security plugin
    – Didnt change the wp-content in the ithemes options
    – Didnt touch directory permissions (I previously messed up permissions)

    and it worked…

    it can be solve very easily
    solution-
    1. login to phpmyadmin
    2.In particular database select wp-option table (search for ‘wp’ according to prefix if already changed)
    3.search for upload_path option name
    4.Change the option value to new directory
    ex. /home/cpanel_id/public_html/wp-content/uploads will be /home/cpanel_id/public_html/new-directory/uploads (where new directory is user specified)
