    Hi!

I’ve setup AIO WP Security and enabled few features (firewall, login lockdown etc). I have problems with File Scan. AIO sents me email that some files were changed almost every day but when I enter admin panel I can’t view file scan results. After clicking “View Scan Details & Clear This Message” it shows nothing and disappers. Here is what I found in plugin logs:

    [07/25/2014 6:39 AM] - FAILURE : Error inserting record into wp_aiowps_login_activity
    [07/26/2014 2:17 AM] - FAILURE : save_scan_data_to_db() - Error inserting data to DB!
[07/26/2014 2:17 AM] - SUCCESS : File Change Detection Feature: change to filesystem detected!

    What can I do?

Hi dawgawel it looks like you might have file permission issues.

Can you deactivate the plugin and reactivate it again and remove all advanced options and only activate the basic security settings. Then perform another scan.

    Thank you

I deactiveted an activated the plugin, disabled *all* firewall and security features and it didn’t help. Still getting same error. Then I deleted plugin (using WP Dashboard) and installed it again. Same results as above.

According to the error logs, you can’t view any scan data because no scan details have been saved to the DB.
In order to figure out why the data could not be saved to the DB you will need to dig further by looking at your server logs. Let us know if you find any logs by pasting them here.

It was MySQL variable max_allowed_packet too small (1M) for saving scan results into database. I increased it to 32M and now works like a charm.

    I’m having the same problem:

    [08/06/2014 5:53 PM] - FAILURE : Error inserting record into wp_aiowps_login_activity

But I’m on shared hosting where I cannot increase the max_allowed_packet variable from 1M. Any suggestions?

Also the file wp-security-log-cron-job.txt is blank.

Hi @peter-a because you are on a shared hosting account, you will have to contact your host and ask them to check max_allowed_packet.

    Kind regards

    It is set to 16M.

Anybody has found a solution for this? My max_allowed_packet is set to 500M but nothing… the problem remain the same.

    Any ideas??? ??
