Can't use other WP gallery types?

I have a gallery – ’tiles’ type available via Jetpack – on a page. After adding a gallery using Photospace to another page the initial gallery with tiles ‘reverts’ to Photospace settings.

I assume since Photospace uses WP’s own native gallery this is normal? Or is there a way to retain tiles gallery and use Photospace for another?
