Can't Use Advance Free Shipping Method after update

Hi,

The plugin currently doesn’t integrate with the new WC Zones feature as there’s a lot of complexity with that transition.

You can still use it the normal way by using the ‘Advanced Free Shipping’ section under the ‘Shipping’ tab.

I am planning to integrate this, but don’t have a ETA on it yet.

We have an advance free shipping method enabled but it doesn’t show in the cart, so I thought it had to be added to a zone.

Does this mean that you can’t use both zones and advanced free shipping?

Hi,

You can use both Zones and the WAFS plugin, those shouldn’t interfere.

Do you have the option ‘hide other shipping when free is available’ checked? If there’s then a free shipping option (maybe local pickup) it may hide all other rates and only show that, looking like the Advanced Free Shipping option doesn’t show/work.

Otherwise, it could be a conflict in the conditions, which a screenshot may help.

So I have the Advanced Free Shipping settings the way I want them. I have no shipping zones. When I try to checkout, the shipping options say: “There are no shipping methods available. Please double check your address, or contact us if you need any help.” There isn’t anywhere for me to input a shipping method. I am rather lost. Can you help?

Hi Jonny,

If the WAFS shipping option isn’t showing up it is most likely due to a condition conflict.

Could you please open a separate thread and post your question + screenshots of your setup there?
