Can’t upload second video

  • This is a bit unusual. I uploaded a single flv file to my uploads folder the other day, but haven’t been able to upload a second one. I keep getting a “connection reset” message. My host has tried to resolve the problem and ended up moving me to a different server but the same thing is happening again. I can only upload one file.

    I have the latest Adobe Flash Player and the latest version of WP (2.8.4). The upload limit in php.ini (file size, post size, execution time, memory limit) isn’t the problem. Mod security is off so that shouldn’t be it either.

    I’m running out of ideas as to what could be causing this and could definitely use a little help.

    OK, things seemed to be working out for a while after the server move but then, as I was uploading the last of the 20 or so clips, I not only got the “connection reset” message, but all the files I’d uploaded disappeared, both from the server and from the WP menu.

    Not only that, but the pages I changed in the last couple of hours rolled back to their previous versions, as if I hadn’t published them with the changes (the most recent autosaves are still there, without the clips).
