Can't upload pictures

Try changing the permissions on the wp-content directory to 766. If you still have problems, try 767, 775 or 777. Once your uploads are working, change the permissions on wp-content back to 755 again and check that everything still works OK.

Yes. The folder is set at 777.

the only palce I can find the wp-content is in the hostgator themes secion but I dont see anything there dealing with directory or permission. and inside wordpress (twenty ten) there is no permissions tab

I have downloaded videos and testimonials however, I cant get rid of related videos on the edit post, it jsut does nto exist

In that case, it could be a folder ownership issue. Ask your hosts if they can look into this for you.

I spoke to a support guy at my client’s hosting company and I had to set the permissions on their site in order for it to work.
