Can’t Upload Photos HTTP error

  • I have been unable to upload photos for quite a while now.
    I have tried deleting old photos that I do not need anymore, clearing my cache, and a bunch of confusing stuff go daddy suggested.
    After I deleted photos, I still could not upload new ones, so I do not think it is a space issue of some kind.
    I have a photography business, so being able to upload my photos on my photo blog are kind of important.
    I also am not familiar with writing a bunch of code or anything of the sort.
    So please use layman’s terms.

  • Hey,
    I had an issue too and found out that my share host was running php version 5.5.36 and WordPress requires php 5.6. I had to add ”AddHandler application/x-httpd-php56 .php” to the .htaccess file to get the server to run php 5.6

    Maybe check what needs to be done to get the server to run php 5.6 with your hosting provider
