Cant upload photos

  • I can`t upload photos, when I try only a red x comes up instead of the picture. It has been like this for a month now. What could the problem be?

    same problem. this is my first contact with WP. I think it’s a problem withc CHMND or smthing. I didn’t have a folder upload at server. i created it but the same thing. I got Firefox, opera, maxthon, ie & chrome

    Try this

    1 – in Settings –> Miscellaneous, check the path to the uploads folder
    2 – in your files directory, make sure the uploads folder is following the same path, and if not there, create one
    3 – check permissions for the uploads folder (777)
    4 – try the browser uploader, instead of the flash uploader

    Hopefully, this will solve the problems.
