  • Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies?

Have you tried clearing any caching on your site?

Have you tried deactivating all plugins and switching to the default theme to see if any are causing this problem?

BTW, “hating wordpress” probably won’t help you or volunteers here solve this.

Sorry, hate is a strong word, but after using blogger for so long with such ease, I am very frustrated! This is only the 4th post I have attempted with WordPress, and it has been difficult every step of the way.
I am not sure how to clear my browser cache and cookies or any of the other actions suggested above as much as I hate to say! Wish I knew more about this part of the program, thus why I am so frustrated. WordPress advertises its easy use, but everything I have read in this forum, is quite a bit more detailed than I am experienced. Like I said, never had these issues when using blogger….Just a designer trying to share and communicate with clients, who knew it would be this time consuming!

Have you considered using WordPress.COM? That’s more like blogger in that you are not responsible for the hosting side of things. It’s much less technical, though it has limitations in what you can do – see:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Yes, if you are self-hosting a WP site (or any other website), it does require some technical stuff, but lots of people start out where you are.

    What is the site URL?

What browser are you using? Do a google search for how to clear the cache/cookies.

I sent response earlier, now it is not showing up….

www.remarpro.com was sold to me by Network Solutions! Wasn’t given option for WordPress.com

Using Internet Explorer, cleared cookies and cache…no change

    URL….https://037997b.netsolhost.com/WordPress/wp-admin/index.php

    Try using another browser.

What is the URL (domain name) for your site?

You can use WordPress.COM any time you want – it has nothing to do with Network Solutions or any other registrar or hosting company.

You can also use your own domain name there if you want – https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/

And now seeing that I am not the only one with this issue.

Again, when I click on Add Media, the page that comes up is missing the upload files/media library prompt under Insert Media. Other than the options below, the page is blank.

    Insert Media Insert Media
    Create Gallery ________________________(nothing)
    Set Featured Image

    Insert from URL

What is the URL for your site (for the third time)?

    Have you tried another browser?

I had this issue myself, it turns out that the issue lies with Internet Explorer 10, not WordPress, I switched over to Google Chrome and ta da it works normally.
