When I try and upload an image on my homepage or any other page this notification come up:

File is empty. Please upload something more substantial. This error could also be caused by uploads being disabled in your php.ini or by post_max_size being defined as smaller than upload_max_filesize in php.ini.

Can anyone help with why this is? Have previously used Twenty-Twelve but not had any issues.

On this site I’ve never been able to upload any images so far – except the header image.

Also I tried deactivating all my plugins as previous posts related to this have suggested…

    Thanks for your time ??

  • As a workaround for certain similar troubles I have had, I use FTP to upload to the uploads folder, then use “Add From Server” (a plugin) to bring things all the way into the media registry. However, I believe that plugin needs “Current date” to be checked when it runs since it does not do well with noting files’ original dates.
