I am on the latest version of WordPress, and Photo Gallery. I can’t upload any images to any Gallery – not a new one, and not an existing one. Not a single image, not multiple images. I always get “Failed to import images from media library”, or “There has been a problem trying to upload the following images. Please try to upload them again.”

    Hi,

Could you please let us know if you can upload the images from Media Libray? Do you have the same error when uploading the images from Media Library?

    Thank you!

    Have a nice day!

As you can see in my post, I can’t. “Failed to import images from media library”. I also can’t upload an image from my computer’s drive. I can’t add an image (either way) to an existing Gallery. I can’t create a new Gallery. In short, I can’t get any images into Photo Gallery, any way.

I am having the same problem. When I saw this post, I tried to upload from my computer and got an error (upload failed)

This is really strange because it was all working, then it stopped.

Is there a way to look at “behind the scenes” log files that show what’s happening?

    Hi,

We are sorry for the inconvenience you have faced.

We are kindly asking you to provide error log and also let us know from which version you have updated the Plugin to the latest version.

    Thank you in advance!

    Have a nice day!

I have not kept track of versions, but I always update whenever an update is available, so my most recent update should be from whatever version was available most recently before that.

I have a log file from my WordPress server, but it’s not called “error.log” – it’s called smartini.life-Mar-2019.gz (smartini.life is the name of my WordPress site). Is that the file you want? And how do I upload it to you?

    Hi,

Please ask your hosting provider to provide the error log. We are not sure that your mentioned file is correct.

    Thank you in advance!

I am my own hosting provider, but I can’t get any errors to write to the error.log file. I’ll keep trying to do that, but until I get it working, I can’t get an error log to you.

I have the same issue. Images stoped uploading properly both from my computer and from the media library. Please help to resolve this, I need to keep my website up to date!

    Hi,

We apologize for the inconvenience. With a bit detailed information, we can help you resolve this problem. Could I please ask you to activate WordPress debugging and check for PHP errors, notices or warnings related to the product?

You can activate debugging the following way.

Access your website files using FTP connection and open wp-config.php file.
    Look for the following line:

    define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, false );
Change false into true, so the line looks like this:

    define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, true );

If the line is not present in the file, simply add it to the bottom of wp-config.php and save it.

Afterwards, please have a look at WordPress administrative dashboard and your website front for PHP errors, warnings, notices, and send them to us. They will help us identify the problem.

Please let me know in case you will have questions.

    Thank you!

    Have a nice day!

    Hi,

Please navigate to photo-gallery/filemanager/view.php file, and search for display function (approximately line 305) and set up limitConcurrentUploads to 10

limitConcurrentUploads: 10, // upload step by step

    Please check the following screenshot.

Otherwise, please try to upload large resolution (more than 10 MB) images separately.

    Thank you!

    Have a nice day!
