Can’t upload images inside WordPress any more – HELP !!

    Hi

    When I choose ‘add image’ the box appears with the ‘browse’ desktop button for just a second then its gone ? Apparently this is to do with the Flash player I have on my pc, can anyone explain this to me very briefly? PLEASE…

    In its place is a ‘Choose file to upload’ button and under it ‘After a file has been uploaded, you can add titles and descriptions’, but the button doesn’t work.

    now I can upload using the ftp, but I lose the thumbnail, link etc options which I really rather like.

    Plaes please help.

    any ideas ?

    Are you using 2.6?
    I was not able to get this feature working myself so I just opted to use the NexGen Gallery plugin in combination with lightbox for my image management.

    No I am using 2.5.1 I won’t transfer over until the bugs are sorted, which will probably be a while yet.

    Everything worked just fine until I updated my version of Flash player to 10, is this not compatible with WP 2.5.1 ?

    Eitherway surely the ‘Choose file to upload’ button should work ?

    Please I know people general kind of read and don’t leave answers but I could really do with some guidance by someone in the know.

    I having the same issue.. it was working fine , now i have wordpress 2.6.5 and now i am missing the visual editor panel.

    still waiting but can’t find any solutions

    flash 10 also broke the wordpress uploader.
