Can't upload images, hard before publish a post, receive "Connection lost"

  • Please I need a help,

    Recently my blog started showing the massage “Connection lost. Saving has been disabled until you’re reconnected.” yet I can still browse other web pages.

    I thought it to be a minor problem, though I had to spend up to 2 hours for a post that should’ve cost me 40 minutes or less.

    Now the worst is that it developed that i was unable to upload images on blog post, I can’t even update plugins, can’t even save or change settings, cant add new categories, almost every thing is falling apart.

    Please I need urgent help.

    I appreciate your assistance.

  • Hello @occhristian!

    Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.
    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the default theme for your version of WordPress to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Thank you so much for trying to assist me, but I’ve done all these yet the problem still persist.

    In fact right now I have no single plugin installed, I have deleted them all, and I can’t Install them again because of the same problem.

    I have also switched to default theme for my version of WordPress 4.6 which i believe to be Twenty Sixteen.

    I’ve also contacted my Hosting Company BlueHost, and they were the once who even helped me to uninstall, delete and change the theme because I couldn’t do it because of the same problem.

    Please do you have any other suggestions, I would like to learn about them.
