can't upload images

I cannot upload ANY images into posts

haha…thanks! Well I’m not sure…when I pick select files or drag & drop an image it says “uploading” for a minute but then a little red box appears that says ERROR: an error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.

I’ve been trying everything for 5 days now.

Try checking your site’s error logs for a more specific error message. The message you are seeing is too generic to be of much help when troubleshooting. Your hosts should be able to help you in accessing your site’s error logs.

I’ve tried restarting my computer, switching to different browsers, restarting my page. It worked just fine before I updated to 3.5.1

ok…even more confused now… is there no way to literally contact someone in WordPress? I don’t pay anyone, besides GoDaddy to have my domain. I realize I must sound like an idiot, but I guess I’m an idiot then.

What is your site URL?

If it’s the site in your profile, that site appears to be using Minimatica theme – which has known problems with WP3.5 – so if you have not already done so, you may want to look at this thread – the last post has the info about a fix for Minimatica:

I have had the exact same error for some months now, my thread has been largely ignored until the last few days. I’m not using Minimatica theme, it was also when I updated to 3.5.1 that mine started to give 2 errors:
1 I could not upload images
2 After FTP’ing images up they do not display the correct size.

So, Salty life has a real issue that I also have, could they be related?
