  • You might try uploading an image with the javaScript Console open. Watch for any errors in red. I would think that looking at the server logs might help too. Try unchecking the option to ‘disable code execution in the uploads folder’ and see if that helps.

    Well Tim still no luck

Lou, could you open the console in your browser and then try to upload an image. See if the console contains any errors? If you can describe where in the upload process it fails that would be helpful to. Do you get to file selection? Does the image start uploading at all?

No error show in the console. It looks like it wants to work it has the empty placeholder for the thumbnail and the blue line going across as if it uploading when it finishes all I have is a empty place holder and this text

An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.
    Close uploader

Thanks for the update louneves. Could you set the Wordfence setting “Disable Code Execution for Uploads directory” to off (unchecked) and see if that helps?

    Hello again Lou,
if you want to try to resolve the issue I suggest that you check the error logs on your server to see if you can find any clues there. If you don’t know how to do that, as your web host to help you. It could be that your system is running out of memory. You can read about the system requirements for Wordfence here.
