  • When did this occur? Did you update your WordPress version? Are you getting any error message?

Try checking this site for fix.

There are a host of things it could be.

Firstly check your permissions on your folders -they should be set to 755.

Also check the sizes of the files you are uploading – if they are too big they wont upload. You either have to then increase your upload size limit or make your images more web friendly.

It may also be that you or the WordPress installation do not have the right permissions to write to the database.

Try to be more descriptive – was there a time you could upload? What has changed since then?

Thanks for replying back. My images size is 600 x 750, not big at all. I have not did anything new to my site, it just stopped working out of the blue. I was able to upload before with no problem. My last upload was on 28 FEB 2016. Then yesterday I tried to upload a Feature image on a post I created and it said this when I tried to upload the image “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.”

Where do I check permissions on my folders at?

YOu will see the folder permissions either through your FTP client or your file manager in your Control Panel – provided you have been given the ability to see it by your hosting company. If nothing changed on your site it could be that your hosting environment changed, you may also have used up the amount of space assigned to your website and may need to upgrade your account.
