    Hello,
I work with the newest version of WordPress and lingotek.
Since the last update I have a problem with the image upload. Every time I upload an image a get an error message, that the image can’t upload.

No I find out what error caused this problem:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method PLL_Translated_Post::get_post_language() in /path-to-wordpress/wp-content/plugins/lingotek-translation/admin/filters-media.php on line 53

What is wrong and can you help me with this bug? Thanks!

  • I do have the same problem.

    Using WP4.4.1 and TwentySixteen-Theme

    Only plugins:
    -polylang
    -lingotek translation

If lingotek is deactivated – upload of Images do work
If lingotek is activated – upload of images do’nt work

Already uploaded Images are viewable in the mediathek of WP with plugin activated or unactivated

If I do upload an image while the plugin is deactivated it is in the mediathek. now i build up a new post with the image as the image for the preview in the blog. now I activate the lingotek. do the translation:

1.) The information of the post either it is an image-post or an other one is not in the new generated and translated post
2.) If I like to integrate an image to that post the mediathec is shown as empty – either with plugin activated or deactivated
3.) If I do now integrate an image trough the post (new upload, because mediathec is empty) it works. In the mediathek there is now this image available.
4.) If I now like to edit the second translated laguage and like to include an image, the maediathek is again empty

This is all I found out

Thanks for bringing this to our attention! I have found the bug and have released version 1.1.10 of the plugin with the fix. If you update to that version you shouldn’t have problems anymore.

many thanks for that – but how do I do the update??? There is now update to start…

It may take a little while for the update to show up in your Plugin page. WordPress has to realize that an update has been submitted.

Installed the update and tested it. Works very good.

    Thank you very much!

update wors fine. Thanks again. Could it be possible, that there are other problems now when I try to edit a translated post??? I do get this error msg now:

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /customers/d/8/2/1h-art.com/httpd.www/wp-content/plugins/lingotek-translation/include/model.php on line 136 Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /customers/d/8/2/1h-art.com/httpd.www/wp-content/plugins/polylang/admin/admin-filters-term.php on line 403 Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /customers/d/8/2/1h-art.com/httpd.www/wp-content/plugins/polylang/admin/admin-filters-term.php on line 403 Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /customers/d/8/2/1h-art.com/httpd.www/wp-content/plugins/polylang/admin/admin-filters-term.php on line 403 Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /customers/d/8/2/1h-art.com/httpd.www/wp-content/plugins/lingotek-translation/include/model.php:136) in /customers/d/8/2/1h-art.com/httpd.www/wp-admin/post.php on line 197 Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /customers/d/8/2/1h-art.com/httpd.www/wp-content/plugins/lingotek-translation/include/model.php:136) in /customers/d/8/2/1h-art.com/httpd.www/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1228

As I have recognized The mediathek only offers some kind of Images to upload as a post image – would’nt it be better if lingotek could see all images… I really love that plugin – but it would be much easier if I could chose from the already uploaded Images for my workflow.

The other thing is that each new translated post do not keep the selection either it is a Musik, Video, Image, Gallery…

Hope I can help and not just have dreams… ??

    auge3,

Thanks for your comments. I’m looking into the errors you are seeing and will hopefully find a fix soon. As for not seeing all images, if you view this support post you will find instructions on how to enable your uploaded media for all languages.
