    Unfortunately, this is the error you get when the plugin doesn’t know what happened, it just failed.

    Reason for that failure include:

    • too big a file
    • uploads are not allowed for some reason like a security setting
    • the permissions on the uploads directory don’t allow WP to save the file there
    • the file type can’t be determined (probably not in your case)

    So, check your uploads directory, first look at the plugin setting to make sure you have the directory correctly set there. Then if that is right, check the permissions on the upload directory.

    You could ask your web host for help, they may see something in the error log that explains the problem.
