Can’t upload image in 2.5

  • Hello,

    I just upgraded to 2.5, and according to the upgrade.php page, everything is working fine. But when I try to upload images (in Firefox 2.0.0.13) I get a blank screen after I tell it to insert the image into my post.

    Can anyone help?

    UPDATE: I’m having several other problems and going through the forums trying to fix… Can we have a one-click upgrade next time?

The precondition on the request for the URL /wp-admin/media-upload.php evaluated to false.

    This is the latest error I’m getting trying to upload an image using 2.5.1. I’ve tried every solution on this forum (including the Flash-Disable plugin and reinstalling everything from scratch VERY CAREFULLY).

    No luck so far . . . still hoping for a real solution from the makers of WP. ? ??

    I have the bug like paralax have! I upload an image, the uploader sets the URL to wp-content/uploads/ but in reality they are uploaded simply into the wp-content directory.

    OMG! Shame on me! In settings I set “wp-content” for default upload directory. Btw I don’t get it why it sets the URL to “wp-content/uploads” if I set a different one.
