Hi all. I have got 2 questions in one.

    1) When selling digital products on WooCommerce / WordPress is it good to upload these large files onto my media library or is there a “free” method of integrating my GoogleDrive or what would you suggest as the best option here?

    2) Now to get to my actual query, I can’t upload audio files larger than 25MB to my media library even though the maximum file size has been changed to 60MB and the File Manager says 1000MB on CPanel.

What happens is that it uploads and then gets stuck on 100% and afterward gives me an “unexpected response from the server. The file may have been uploaded successfully. Check in the media library or reload the page” error. When I reload it is not in my media library. (this error happens when I upload through WordPress and my File Manager on CPanel)

I have cleared the cache and tried another internet connection – the same problem persists. I spoke to the hosting company and they say that on their side everything seems right it must be a WordPress error.

Can you assist me with this problem? WordPress Version 5.3.2

  • This article should help you to add the filetypes you need to add support for: https://neliosoftware.com/blog/how-to-upload-additional-file-types-in-wordpress/

Sorry, I misunderstood your issue. You are actually having and issue with php upload limits this is something you need to discuss with your hosting provider. It is a server configuration issue.

    Hi @lemanja
here answers of your questions respectively.
    1. as I see you have max 20 products so i think using your same server would be fine. there is no need to use google drive integration. that thing can be used if you have more than 100 products. the second thing I would like to let you know you can use your own server and optimize them that will load your product fast with images. there is lots of plugin and way to do this. you can do google for that.
    2. there could many reasons for that some of are listed below:-
2.1. your media file could be corrupted try with lower size audio file or try with other media type audio file. you will see the differences.
2.2 the plugin or code is collapsing to upload the file that you were try to upload.
2.3 some time it seems that upload limit has been increased but that is not actually being affected. so try find other way increase upload limit like php.ini, server way, cpanel, wp-config, via plugin etc.
2.4 may be your site is affected with virus. try to reinstall the site again and try uplaod the file you will see the differences.
