Can’t upload any new media

    As far as I know I haven’t recently updated any plugins (none of them need to be at the moment) or WordPress itself but I logged in yesterday and couldn’t upload any new media. It keeps getting stuck on 53% and then after about five minutes switches straight to Crunching, and then hangs there for another five minutes before I get an error message saying the file won’t upload. I’ve tried big files, small files, jpeg files, word files, pdfs – nothing.

    I’ve not recently changed any settings.

    Anyone got any tips? Bear in mind I’m a bit of a WordPress dummy.

  • Do you have enough space left?
    This could also be a memory issue.
    Maybe your provider has modified something, do you have access to error logs ?
