    Just updated to NextGen Version 3.28. And with no other changes on the website, I cannot upload anymore to galleries.

    When I try to add an image I get a: “Fail to upload…and the filename”.

    The only change is I updated to 3.28.

    I am building on localhost: domain.local:10004

    Can someone help me with this. I can’t upload any more images.

    I am only uploading files smaller than 5MB.

    I have reviewed this webpage, and it did not solve the issue: https://www.imagely.com/docs/known-uploading-errors/

    Hi,

    There was only one change in the latest version.

    Try downloading the previous version from here at the bottom you’ll find a dropdown to select the version you want.

    Install it and check again.

    Please keep me posted on how it went.

    Thanks.

    @trvsgrant,

    Could you please let us know what hosting provider you use for your site?

    As an experiment, you can try adding the following constant by FTP to your site’s wp-config.php file to see if that’ll change anything while uploading images with the latest version of NextGen Gallery:

    define("NGG_DISABLE_IMAGICK", true);
