Can't upgrade wordpress or install new plugins via FTP(SSL).

  • Good afternoon.

    I have wordpress site whose files are hosted on FTP(SSL) server. Basically what happens when I try to update or install new plugin, after writing my FTP hostname,username,password, is that wordpress promts out error message – “Couldn’t connect to FTP server hostname.com:21“. This is interesting, as I choosed SSL connection – basically i need to connect throught port 22, not 21.
    How can I fix this? How can I connect throught SSL using port 22 isnted of 21, in wordpress while updating system or installing new updates?
