Can’t upgrade plugins from dashboard any more!

  • Today I tried to upgrade 4 plugins but I got the same message:

    Incompatible archive: PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

    I believe it has to do with file permissions. Because a few days ago I used a plugin to scan my wordpress blog security and it said that I had to change file permissins on a couple of directories.And so I did.

    Anyway, can somebody tell me what is wrong and how to fix the problem?

    The file permissions on Plugins and Upgrade directory are 755 now.
