• I’m trying to upgrade 3.6 to 3.8 using the “Update Now” button.

Updates to other sites work OK on the same server.

    Here’s the warning message:

    Unpacking the update…

Warning: copy(/home/park/public_html/wp/wp-admin/includes/update-core.php) [function.copy]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/park/public_html/wp/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-filesystem-direct.php on line 200
    Could not copy files.

    Installation Failed

Permissions are folder: 755, file: 644.

I’m not a PHP expert. It sounds as if it’s a coding problem. Can anyone help me fix this?

    Thanks, Keith
