Fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs. Then you can use the selector to search for Fatal Errors.

Hi, thanks for replying. Yes, I have issues updating my products in Woocommerce eg updating description, quantity etc. When I tried to update, this is the error message received:

“There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”

There are no instructions sent to my site admin email.

2. Fatal error logs

Please advise what I should be doing to resolve this issue. I’ve updated Woocommerce and wordpress plug-ins to latest versions, cleared server cache with help from the hosting provider but nothing works.

I was able to check your system status report and could notice all your plugins are up-to-date, but your database version is not.

Here are my suggestions to troubleshoot the issue further :

1. Update your WooCommerce database by heading over to WooCommerce > Status > Tools > Update Database. Once that is done, check if the issue persists.
2. Run a conflict test: I was able to notice you have 43 active plugins, it is possible one of the plugins is causing a conflict leading to the said error. You can find a detailed guide on how to run a conflict test here. This will help us rule out any possible theme/plugin conflict.

Hi. I had earlier contacted Bluehost to fix this issue. they found out that the issue is conflict with php version 8.2. after downgrading to the lower version for me, the issue was resolved. How can i upgrade to the latest version of php 8.2, but yet allowing woocommerce to work like before? pls suggest any action steps and i’ll get my developer to work on them.

While WooCommerce is compatible with PHP versions from 7.4, there might be conflicts with PHP 8.2 as it’s a relatively new version and might not be fully compatible with all themes and plugins yet.

However, if you want to upgrade to PHP 8.2, here are some steps you can consider:

1. Backup your site: Always do this before making any significant changes to your site.

2. Update all your plugins and theme: Make sure all your plugins, themes, and WordPress itself are up-to-date.

3. Test in a staging environment Set up a staging site and upgrade PHP there first to see if there are any issues. This way, you can troubleshoot without affecting your live site.

4. Upgrade PHP: If everything works fine on the staging site, you can then upgrade PHP on your live site.

If you encounter any issues after upgrading, it’s best to revert to the previous PHP version and reach out to the plugin/theme developers for further assistance.
