Can’t update preferences (REST API error) after update to 7.0

After update to 7.0 or higher, when I try to update the wizard or the banner settings, I get an error message “Connection to the server lost” and the console log shows this errors:

When I go back to version 6.5.6 everything works perfectly.

unfortunately since you have reverted to v 6.x we can’t reproduce the issue.
Please try to enable a plugin such as Wp Debugging and try to trigger the issue once more to see if any additional information is being logged.
I would recommend to test if the problem persists with Complianz as the sole activated plugin & with a default WordPress theme.?
If this works, re-enable plugins & theme one by one and keep testing until it stops working again, at which point you’ll know exactly which one was the culprit.?Hope this helps.
