Can’t unmark some fields in “News Article” area

I filled the “News Article” type but then realised that I don’t need it for my website. I’ve tried to unmark “Enabled” , “Output On”, “Output On(Custom Posts)” but they show as marked after saving the changes. Also the Structured Data Testing Tool shows the followin error with this type:
“A value for the image field is required.” I have the picture url already added, so I’m not sure what means.

Will be greatfull for any insights how to fix it.
