cant uninstall this plugin

    I added this plug in to my wordpress site. When I opened my site after the install it ran extremely slow. So I want to remove the plug in but it wont let me deactivate it. I cant remove it. Please help.

    Glad to help. Normally the plugin can be deactivated via the WP Plugins screen. If that is not possible in your case, it could be that something is interfering with normal functionality. In that case, the best way to remove the plugin is to remove it directly via the server. Go to:

    /wp-content/plugins/simple-ajax-chat/

    ..and delete the entire /simple-ajax-chat/ directory. If you need help with this, ask your host, who will be happy to help delete the plugin folder.
