Can’t Uninstall/Remove Defender

    Every time I try to remove the plug-in, it just sits there “Deleting…..”

    I need to remove the plug-in because it is causing a lot of performance issues for my site. After extensive debugging, I figured out that it was Defender. How can I remove the plug-in completely?

    wp-includes / .htaccess is not writable so I can’t even do a manual uninstall cause I need all the settings and data removed.

    I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue with our plugin.

    Could you manually check via FTP what are the settings for htaccess files and change their settings file permissions to 644 and later on try to uninstall again from Dashboard?
