    You can always force a deactivation by renaming the plugin folder in wp-content/plugins

    It might be that setting WP_DEBUG to true now shows enough errors to push the side menu down the page.

    …/wp-admin/plugins.php is where you can deactivate it.

    had to restore my back up from Siteground. That plugin would not allow me to enter my website or make any changes.
