Trying to uninstall we-SpamShield and get
    Deletion failed: HTTP/2.0 500

Tried to delete via ftp and “…don’t have permissions to perform operation.”

Please advise. Development complete on site and deleting plugins I don’t want to us.

    Thanks!

    Hi @jwest100,

That’s odd that you got that error. There may be a temporary issue with your server. It can be manually deleted via FTP or through the file manager in your site’s control panel or cpanel. Navigate to this folder: “/wp-content/plugins/” and delete the entire “wp-spamshield” folder. Now that won’t clear out the database entries and settings since the uninstall script isn’t run. What I would recommend there is to wait a day or so after you delete the files from the server via FTP, then:

    1. Install a fresh copy of the plugin through the WordPress Dashboard.
    2. Activate it.
    3. Immediately deactivate it.
    4. Then click “Delete” and this will initiate the uninstall script. All traces of the plugin will be removed from the database.

    Hope that helps!
