Can't type in FTP credentials for plugin installation WP 4.5.2

  • Hello,

    I have recently created a subfolder on my domain and installed WordPress there as well.
    When I tried to install new plugins to my main domain, I noticed that my FTP credentials were reset to default and WP was asking me to re-enter them but the input boxes are grey and I cannot type in them.
    I now changed the username, password and server data in the wp-config.php directly, so it won’t asked me for my credentials but that is not a permanent solution :/

    Can anybody help me?

    That’s a host issue; you need to talk to the host. WordPress won’t reset FTP credentials.

    I now changed the username, password and server data in the wp-config.php directly…

    Yet another host issue with FTP.
