Exactly what the title says – once you’re at the checkout page, the credit card form cannot be typed into. I’ve had to remove it from my site in order to be able to accept payments (using PayPal). Would love for it to work again.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello support,

I have been having the same problem as above. This happens when the “JS Combine” option turned on in my Litespeed Cashe plugin.
So in my opinion we need to exclude the Woocommerce Square plugin JS files in the Cache plugin.

Please send the the JS links (files) that I can exclude.

    Thank you

I have this problem too. I have tried reinstalling the plugin but it does not fix the problem. I have deactivated square and only accept paypal but would like this to be resolved

    Thank you for reaching out!

I understand that on all four sites, Square payment method fields won’t load at the checkout page.

This isn’t something we were able to replicate on our test sites.

There’s a known compatibility issue with Divi theme and a few different plugins.

This happens when the Autogenerate descriptions option is enabled in All in One SEO Pack plugin:

    https://cld.wthms.co/RDKhfB

And as @simplepicturehanging mentioned, plugins like Litespeed Cache are also capable of causing this.

A plugin/theme conflict test will help you determine which plugin (or theme) is causing this behaviour:

    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

I’m not aware which exact JavaScript files need to be excluded in the settings of Litespeed Cache plugin since I’m not familiar with how exactly this plugin works and each case might be different, but you may want to try excluding all JavaScript files found in the Square plugin folder.

You may also want to reach out to the support team of Litespeed Cache for assistance with the configuration of this plugin.

    I hope this helps!

Found the problem, at least for my client’s sites.
If using the ever popular Autoptimize, under “JavaScript Options”, uncheck “Aggregate JS-files?”.
Leaving “Optimize JavaScript Code?” checked seems to work fine.

I recommend if you have other caching plugins, make sure JavaScript Aggregation us not active.
Hope this helps & happy ecomming!

Thank you for the comments @grigaswp

I have looked for the Square js files and tried excluding one by one using the cache plugin setting and I managed to fix the problem while keeping the “JS Combine” option “On” in LiteSpeed plugin.

So the solution could be (worked for me)
Go to LiteSpeed Cache-> Settings->Tuning: now add this “wc-square.min.js” in the “JS Exclude” box and save.
Now try the checkout process and see if it fixed.

Hopefully this will be helpful for someone out there. I am using Flatsome Theme.

For Autoptimize: alternatively (and recommended) you could also untick the “also aggregate your eshop’s cart/ checkout”-option.

I tried the autoptimize suggestion and it worked
I unticked the ‘also optimize cart/checkout’ option in Autoptimize

    Brilliant @brentsparks
I have the same problem but following your instructions –
“If using the ever popular Autoptimize, under “JavaScript Options”, uncheck “Aggregate JS-files?”.
Leaving “Optimize JavaScript Code?” checked seems to work fine.

I recommend if you have other caching plugins, make sure JavaScript Aggregation us not active.”

    Solved my problem

@wealthy I would rather suggest to untick the “also aggregate your eshop’s cart/ checkout”-option ??

OK will try that and see what happens.

Ok changed it and seems to still work.

    thanks
