Can’t translate Name/Comany Name with WPML

  • Hello,

    First of all, I love your plugin and all it offers!

    I have a question regarding the Name and Company field. These fields don’t show up among the options when I use Advanced Translation Manager, and as you see from the link to one of the testimonials, the Name field on this website consists of name AND title of the person, and the title is sometimes different in English and French (Director vs Directeur).

    I tried to duplicate the testimonial and edit the French translation manually/independently, but it doesn’t save the change, and keeps the English version.

    Help appreciated.

    Thank you so much for reaching out and explaining!
    I was able to replicate the same behavior on my end and it seems to be a bug.
    I went ahead and opened a ticket regarding this so our dev team can solve in our next update.

    Hi Mihaela @mplusb,

    I see there have been updates to the plugin, but this issue is not resolved. Is it possible to get an idea of when it can get fixed?

    I have 25+ testimonials in 3 languages, and it’s especially important to my client that the names/titles show correctly, as she is a translator.

    Having to create the testimonials for each language individually will be so much extra work and won’t allow that each testimonial is being linked to the equivalent in other languages.
