Can’t translate drop-down menus and other strings

    Hi. I’m using Loco Translate to translate WP Event Manager into Portuguese (Portugal) and the drop-down menu options are still appearing in English (actually, the “There are no events matching your search” message is, too), even though I did translate them already. What gives?

    By the way, in the .po file, all the untranslated strings (except for the “There are no events…” one) don’t have their original under the the “msgid” attribute, but under the “msgtxt” one, and the “msgid” is just blank.

    Missing string, we will add in new release but for your workout you can add in your .po file.

    Actually I face exactly same issues (and more) and before checking the forum I read everything in documentation including what is mentioned in the link you provided above. For me the only way worked was to add the translation is the source file. In addition, many strings that are present in Loco and are translated there are not reflected in the UI.

    You mentioned that missing string will be added with the new release. When you plan this? I would be glad to provide all the cases I found where translation cannot be done or has issues. Because now I have many files updated and in some moment I might loose the track. It is really pity because plugin in great but if you cannot translate it properly it becomes unusable for non-English speaking users.

    I have documented everything in an Excel file (with screenshot of the issues and additional details) for you to be able to easily localize the problems with translation but I have no choice to send an attachment via Contact or Forum.
