  • Hey there,

A few translation fixes for Italian went out with the 1.7.8.1 update. If this has not already been resolved, could you please update to the latest version and see if that takes care of things?

    Thanks,
    Jess

I just installed the 17.8.2 update.
    Stings like:
    Membership expires after
    The price for membership is
    Membership expires after
    Select (the button one)
are not yet translated on the website.

Sorry for the delay. We’re quite busy but I just reminded Jason of this and he’ll be in touch.

    Hi there,

I have the same issue with translation in French. I had to modify the files with the French translation manually as the function does not seem to work as expected.

    same fields not translated :

    Membership expires after
    The price for membership is
    Membership expires after
    Select (the button one)
Price (label on membership level page)

PS: the function “sprintf(_x ” is the one that does not seem to work

    Thanks.

We’re aware of these issues and are working on fixing them with the next update, thanks.

    Have a nice day ??

Thanks for that websam101! We actually just reworked a ton of this code to fix translation issues into the latest release (1.7.10) yesterday.

The new version fixed a lot. Most of the fields have been translated now, but there are still a few lines which are not translated on the site , while it is translated in the .mo file.
I already mailed the Dutch translation, so you can use it for others, but I was wondering if you already acknowledged these bugs? (or I’m doing something wrong).

If someone can help me, that would be great.
firat of all, I have one Free membership, but it also keeps saying “Free” instead of the dutch translation.
Where can I change that? In the .po file it is correctly translated.

    Thanks.
    Mark

There are still a few places where the translation isn’t fixed exactly, but thanks for the info – we’re working on it!

    HEllo

Also in the Spanish translation there are some no translated parts.

    Just to remind ??

I think this should have high priority. Sites using this plugin are made for people that pays money. It’s not confortable for a customer to pay (using credit card) ona site that has same string in his own language and others strins in english. I would not entrust this kind of site…

Same problem here, and indeed @ciao121
i’ve translated everything in poEdit but stupid strings as Months and “every 3 Months” for example satys in english… Any quick solution? Even if i need to change manually something in the code.. i don’t care just would be great to have a solution ??

Thanks for your work @messica we will wait your feedback ??

Have you tried updating the .po file with the current pmpro.pot file in POEdit? Go to Catalog > Update from POT file and choose the pmpro.pot from the latest version of PMPro. That should fix the translation files, but if it doesn’t let us know.

If you want, we can log in and take a look at your site as well if you sign up for PMPro membership and post on the member support forums.

A temporary quick workaround could also be to change the text displayed with the pmpro_level_cost_text filter.

Hey messier, I’m having the exact same problem as described by other users. Is this a reported bug?

For example, my short code for [pmpro_levels] shows mixed results:

    “Level” : successfully translated
    “Price” : not translated
    Level description: not translated
    Return to homepage link: translated

Here’s an screenshot for you to see the final result:

I’m running PMP 1.7.15.2 and tried with a fresh install and also recreating the .mo file from the .pot file you guys have on your github.

PD: sorry.. messica. my safari autocorrected your username! ??
