I was on 4.3.1 and wanted to check out 4.4 RC like a good beta tester.

    Selecting:

Dashboard → Updates → An updated version of WordPress is available → Update Now

    It keeps downloading 4.3.2-alpha.

After it goes through the updates, it still shows ‘An updated version of WordPress is available’: wash, rinse, repeat.

I’ve paused CloudFlare and purged my Wordfence cache multiple times. Also, bypassed CloudFlare completely using hosts file.

Works fine here, so it could be an issue with your setup instead of an issue with the plugin.

Had the same problem. Worked once I changed it to “Bleeding edge nightlies” on the Tools > Beta Testing page.

I can confirm the solution from @brechtvds works perfect to update to 4.4 RC. Tools > Beta Testing > Bleeding edge nightlies > Save Changes. Then try updating again.

Yes, switching to Bleeding Edge gives me the Release Candidate.

I would have expected an RC to not be classed as bleeding edge though.

    Thanks for the help everyone.
