    Hi Mauglee,

If you start typing the name of your CIMY user fields, are they being autocompleted? I’ll have to dig into the CIMY plugin to see if those fields are supported. If not, we may have to come up with some custom code to get this to work for you.

Please allow me some time to get back to you while I’ll run some tests on the CIMY plugin.

PS. Would really appreciate it if you could revoke your review. It’s not nice to manipulate plugin authors into supporting you while the plugin in fact works fine. You can’t expect the plugin to work with all other available plugins out there just like that – it takes a lot of (unpaid, mostly) work…

    Hello Danny!

    No problem.

I think it’s not fair Danny.
I give 2 starts to the plugin – not works as described, no support.

    Hi Mauglee,

I am terribly sorry but we will not be manipulated into supporting you for free. The plugin comes with sensible defaults and we can’t integrate with any plugin out there without spending considerable amounts of our time on it. As all people, our time is limited and we have to make a living, so paying customers are getting priority. Makes sense, no?

I am sorry but just because of this attitude you have here, I will choose not to spend time on this anymore.

    Good luck on your site!

The problem is that in paid version plugin also have this issue.

I noticed that some people have same issues with others extra fields plugins and MailChimp User Sync. But in my mind there are only few extra user fileds plugins for WordPress. Why not test it first?

“the plugin will listen to all changes in your WordPress users and make sure everything stays in sync with the selected MailChimp list”

    all changes?

I’m not familiar with WordPress plugins’ architecture but if there are some different approaches to user extra fields extensions you should publish some compatability list for your plugin.

At least if the plugin cant sync given extra user fileds it should log some error info. But it’s very silent.
