Can’t switch the text editor from HTML to VISUAL mode

  • Since yesterday night , i am try to use Visual Editor mode, but it remains HTML mode despite selecting Visual mode, nothing happen.

    I am using wp 2.6.2 , firefox 3.0.5 and IE 8 beta 2

    I need to use visual editor mode as i am not master in html , whats wrong it was working well till yesterday

    I even try to re-upload js folder from wp-includes, but no luck, any one know how to fix it , whats went wrong suddenly?

  • Loss of visual editor usually brought about by plugin conflict. Deactivate all plugins, delete cookies, clear cache. You most probably will get the visual editor back. Then activate plugin one by one to see which one affected your visual editor.
    Btw, WP 2.7 is available for download ??

    I am working on 2.7 part as , i have to ensure that all plugins works well with 2.7 , i am using flexible upload with fix for 2.6.2 , waiting for some updates on flexible upload so that i can’t upgrade it to 2.7

    Nope , Plugins is not problem , i disabled all plugins , it didn’t work , i think i have think about 2.7 seriously ??
