Can't switch back to "visual" tab

This is an issue with your theme’s CSS conflicting with the TinyMCE CSS (which is some what common).

The only “real” solution is to use Firebug or Chrome Inspector to track down what your theme’s CSS is doing that is conflicting/overriding with TinyMCE.

Nope, couldn’t find the conflict so i just hid existence of the text mode ^^’
Added a name to the tab and made it invisible in css.

I can’t get TinyMCE to work

i installed bbpress 2.4.1 on WordPress 3.7.1

I also installed the plugin bbPress Enable TinyMCE Visual Tab 1.0.1

no luck!

I have been having this problem when bbPress upgraded to ver 2.5. I started with bbPress support and was directed to install this plugin that is supposed to restore the visual tab and Add Media:

I have installed the plugin and Add Media is now available. However, the visual tab is still greyed out.

I used Firebug as you suggested and found the line of script that performs this switch but I don’t know enough about scripting to understand why this is not working or how to enable it.

I have just found a solution to this problem

You have to edit this file wp-includes/js/quicktags.min.js and delete (or comment) this instruction:

a._close(“”,c.canvas,c)

Obviously, that instruction is there for a reason, so please be very careful as this can have a negative impact in other parts of the plugin.
DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Anyway it did work for me!

Having a similar issue. I can see the visual editor, and change tabs…but I can’t click in the (visual editor) box and start typing.
