Cant Succesfully Input file URLs and Audio Files

  • I can’t seem to successfully link file URLs and audio files to my blog posts on my site.

    They used to look like this: https://freshcivilization.com/?p=528

    Now when I link a file URL it gives me the audio player instead. When I click the “audio player” button, the Link URL box goes blank and nothing is inserted. I tried changing the audio player settings etc to no avail.

    Also, this only started happening after the most recent update of audio player and WordPress.

    I can email pictures if someone is gracious enough to help ??

  • Same problem here. Audio Player 2.0.4.1, WordPress 3.4.1

    In the media window, the Audio button shows popup alternate text that contains the correct tag, but it doesn’t stick the tag into the text field for insertion into the post.
