Can't sign into blog

  • I changed my logo and now I cannot log into my blog. I contacted Host Gator and, because I didn’t want to give them my sign in name and password, they said they couldn’t help me.

    Forgot to say that my site is PitcherAndPlate.com and the message I get (when trying to log in) is: The connection was reset. The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

    You changed your logo, and that has changed log-in settings? That’s not right…

    Can you detail what happened?

    I have the Yoko theme. I made a new logo/title with Paint.net and uploaded it to my media library. Then on the theme options page, I uploaded the url for my new logo. At first, it looked funny on my home page, but once I cleared my browser cache, it was fine. But now I cannot log in to my dashboard, etc.

    Contact your host, there have been some known issues with some hosts in past few days…

    For some time you will have problems as several hosts were targeted and those who were not hit are trying to tighten security. The problem is expected to go away soon.

    Thank you, Krishna. (I wonder why the tech at Host Gator didn’t tell me that?). I’ll wait and see what happens.

    Krishna, I am confused. You are linking to the old Godaddy attacks form last year?

    I think now it is OK now.
