• Hey

I am trying to sign in to my WP install. When trying to I am returned to the login form and it say prove you are human.

I suspect that some of the latest updates may be causing this. Upates are not installed, since host memory recently ran out.

I backup to a cloud drive, so I do not think backup is eating my host space. I have cpanel with my host and installatron I think it’s called. In my WP install there is a folder called application_backups. It is empty, so I assume this is not the issue.

I just checked images, and it appears I have 3 plugins creating thumbs. LS Cache, Regenerate Thumb and Retina 2x. Now to fix this I sort need access to admin.

So how can I sign in, while obstructed by this loop.

Front page does not load correct. I am guessing, that is due to a missing update.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Try deactivating your plugins. It looks like a conflict. If you can get into cpanel, go to file manager and go to wp-content, plugins. You can add a letter before the name of each plugin which will deactivate it. Then see if your problem is solved on the frontend. If it is, go back to your plugins and remove the letter that you added from one at a time. This will reactivate them and if your issue comes back, you’ll know which plugin in the problem.

If you’re running out of space, you’ll need to either delete some media files, or speak with your hosting provider’s support.

What I want is to get into my account, and then from admin start cleaning up the too many image generators. So how do I get in?

Ah, you didn’t mention that you couldn’t get into your account.

Are you not able to get past the “prove you are human” you mentioned? That’s not a part of WordPress, but it could be coming from a plugin.

Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.
